The In-Tuition Centre is delighted to announce the commencement of our 2017 UMAT preparation program for students seeking targeted coaching for the UMAT. The program is scheduled to commence on the weekend of 5th/6th March.
At the In-Tuition Centre, we have enlisted a team of tutors who achieved exceptional results (90 – 100 percentile) in the UMAT. Some of our tutors are current MedEntry question writers. Our team are equipped to deal with the test format and question style of the UMAT. We believe that with the help of our outstanding tutors, their skills at dissecting the questions and knowledge at anticipating hidden tricks can be the secret weapon that your child needs for success in the UMAT.
We have developed a 20 week course which is scheduled to commence on the weekend of 4th/5th March.
Classes will be conducted at the following times & locations:
Stream A: Mt Waverley – 9.00 am to 11.00 am (Saturdays)
Stream B: Mt Waverley – 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm (Saturdays)
Stream C: Sunshine – 9.00 am to 11.00 am (Sundays)

The Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test (UMAT) is an Australia-wide test administered by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) and used by Medical Schools all around the country as a tool to determine the suitability of candidates applying for a place in an Undergraduate Medical Program. Exceptional performance in the UMAT can single handedly secure candidates a place within a Medical Program, regardless of the VCE ATAR score. Often, candidates have to perform well in both the UMAT and VCE to stay competitive for one of few places within an Undergraduate Medical Program.
Although designed to be an aptitude test that does not require preparation, the emergence of preparation courses for the UMAT have rapidly changed the competition. Whilst candidates in the past have relied on their independent aptitude to perform well on the test, coaching prior to the UMAT have been shown to drastically improve the test outcome.
Please contact the Centre for further information including how to enrol.
